Singer Yeongtak has carried out charitable acts to support meals and stable living conditions for elderly living alone.
According to the Korea Sharing Federation on the 13th, Yeongtak donated 50 million won under the name of his fan club, 'Yeongtak and Blues,' to the federation. The Korea Sharing Federation operates Angel Free Meal Centers, providing meals for elderly living alone. Additionally, they deliver love-packed meals, improve living conditions, and support independence for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, domestic children, disabled persons, and children overseas, spreading hope and sharing.
The Korea Sharing Federation announced plans to use the donated funds for free meals for elderly living alone, delivery of love-packed lunches, and milk delivery to prevent solitary deaths, benefiting the underprivileged through the nationwide Angel Free Meal Centers.
Yeongtak said, "I wanted to give back the love I received from my fans on my birthday, which is why I made the donation in the name of the fan club."
This year marks the 19th anniversary of Yeongtak's singing career, with his first album 'MMM' selling 530,000 copies and his second album 'FORM' recording 620,000 copies. The music video for 'Form Crazy' from his second album surpassed 10.28 million views, and he won three awards at the '2024 Universal Superstar Awards.'
